Thank you to the many supporters of our latest raffle!!! The three winners are:
Kendra Zamzow won the stunningly beautiful bench with carved salmon(made by RJ Kopchak)
Katherine Mead took home the case of kippered king salmon and case of salmonberry jelly (made by Kay and Mike Adams)
Laura Slayton won the amazing swan decoy (donated by Rocky Stone)
We sold 489 tickets and received additional donations from several who chose not to be included in the raffle. Our net raffle proceeds will be about $4,000… and an additional $700 in general donations!
These funds will support the beginning of our Centennial Rehabilitation of St. George’s Church. The church’s foundation needs repairs, as do its splaying walls… and finally, we must replace the roof and steeple! Additional upgrades we want to do include adding a bathroom in the church basement.
THANKS also to the Cordova Historical Society for sponsoring this raffle, and to our energetic ticket sellers: Deb and Chip Ethier, Joy Rawlins, Seawan Gehlbach, Barclay Kopchak, Becca Dodge, Kay Adams, Cece Wiese, Nancy Bird, Jim Henkelman, Diann Smith, Patty Hamre, and the Net Loft, Serendipitea/Steen’s, and the Cordova Historical Museum!
